Registration to www.malaysia-today.net is free! In order to be able to post comments on the Malaysia Today, you must first register.We do insist that you abide by the rules and policies detailed below.

By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any comments that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, seditious or otherwise violation of any laws.

Spamming is strictly prohibited. Profanity and insults will not be tolerated.

Don't comment for the sake of commenting. If you have nothing to say on a certain matter then don't comment.

Refrain from off-topic, misleading, and Repeat commenting.

CONSEQUENCES OF RULES VIOLATION

Letters to Editor

· All the letters to the editor must be emailed to labisman@yahoo.com

· When you email the letter , Subject should read , Subject: Letter – “title of your article”

· The letter should be drafted in Microsoft Word or OpenOffice Writer. It should be between 500 - 850 words

· First Paragraph of the letter should not exceed 4 lines

· When you send us a letter with reference to some articles in Main Stream Media or Online Media, Make sure, you are sending us the links to those articles which you are referring to also.

Failing to do any of the above will result in your letter not being considered for screening.

Letters received will be screened and subjected to administrators decision to publish.

Frequently Asked Questions

I can log in, but cannot comment. Why?

This is something to do with your browser & PC.
First,try to clear your cookies and cache in your PC. This is the usual problem.

If the problem persist, Try Alternate method: Do a 'copy and paste' method.
Copy to Microsoft Word and then "Log out followed by Log In".
Thereafter,copy from Microsoft word and paste to the 'Comments section".

Please try to login from other PC and reconfirm it, before you do anything.

Eg. Firefox 3, Internet explorer 7, etc...

How do I post a picture at the comments section?

Get an account in photobucket.com or some other similar portal.
Then upload the photos there. Once you upload there, you will be getting a URL from there for each photo you upload.
Copy that URL and click the photo icon in the comments section and paste it there.

How to post the comment?

Read the full article, then you see on top of the page. There is a space to login using your username and password. Once you login, go down bottom to the last comment and you will see a commenting box open. Put your comments there. You cannot comment without logging in.
